Hi Morgan, what you are saying does have truth to it. I am careful not to generalize and apply this thinking to all Fraternities or Sororities, but for some an oath is made pledging to dedicate themselves to something other than God. That is a trap and dangerous to play with. I would advise young adults against those things.
