No it doesn't mean if the world likes something, such as the Super Bowl that we as Christians can't enjoy without comprmising. Pastor Winston made a great point in one of his messages recently. He said that " there are some things that are highly esteemed by men but an abomination to God." We as believers have the holy spirit to let us know the difference.

Yes Halloween is not just a worldy celebration it is an celebration of evil. Notice during halloween people are dressing up like witches and demons and monsters its a evil day. People going to get scared "god does not give us a spirit of fear" halloween is all about scaring people and about the the dead. God has given us life more abundantly so why would we want to celebrate death and fear. halloween is dressed up to be like its just fun and for kids but theres more to it alot of evil goes on and people are being decieved into celebrating the devil who hates us. and its not Glorifying to God/Jesus Christ its ok to do things you enjoy as long as will not connect you with sin and if its Glorifying to God God wants us to be happy and enjoy life !

I agree. But does that mean that just because the world like something, we should flee from it, even if it something we enjoy doing? Like the Super Bowl, or even advanced technologies like IPods and IPhones, etc.
