Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding (Proverbs 3:5)

It’s easy to say, “give your cares to God and trust Him” when everything in life seems to be going well. It’s easy to say, “I trust you God with everything I own” when all your problems have been solved and u have no worries…However, if God striped you of everything you own; Will you still trust Him even when you don’t understand; even when life hurts? If God told you to leave the familiar and enter the unfamiliar, will you trust Him? For me, I realized that God has done just that. He has taken me from what’s “oh so familiar” and now redirecting me into the unfamiliar. I don’t understand what’s happening in my life; what to do or where to go. The only thing I know is that He gave me His word and the only thing I have to hold on to is that word. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.. God knows everything: the past, current and future and my knowledge and understanding doesn’t even compare to the knowledge and understanding of God when even it applies to my life. I have to constantly stop and ask myself…who I am listening to God or myself and realize that all Man is, is fallible; and sometimes we fall short and at times we’re unable to keep our promises. Man can give you instructions that are misleading and imperfect. With God, none of these things are possible. God keeps His promises, God gives you right instructions according to His perfect will and He won’t mislead you. No matter how much you don’t understand life as it is right now; no matter how uncomfortable it may seem or how hard it gets, don’t give up. If God is with you .. the same God who spoke life into you, the same God who IS and knows the beginning and the end, the same God who knew you before the foundation of this world is with you, then ask yourself who or WHAT can stand against you........

Comment by Jolly Nemi Ayomi on November 15, 2011 at 10:11am: I am blessed by this article! we are face with issues that we cant or have explanations for, but thank God for His infallible word that he gave to us, He said in the book of Isaiah 34:16 "Seek ye out of the book of the Lord an read: no one of these shall fail, none any want her mate: for my mouth hath commanded , and his Spirit it hath gather them." it takes the Light of His word to come out of every dark situations we find ourself in life.
