Go Hard for Christ Youth Ministry & Teen-Train Inc. are excited to offer the S.T.A.R.S. Program - S.T.A.R.S. stands for Soaring To Achieve Real Success.
The program spans six (6) weeks and will train, expose, and provide opportunities for academic enrichment, mentoring, college & career education, STEM education, team building, and leadership skills development for youth. Students can expect to take political, corporate, and college trips during the program. Typically, a program of this caliber would cost thousands of dollars, but we make our program FREE! This is our commitment to the next generation. |
WHY S.T.A.R.S?Soaring To Achieve Real Success - that’s what S.T.A.R.S. is about! Our mission is to expose urban and suburban youth to effective career and college preparation, planning, and implementation strategies. Our staff and educators strive to provide practical strategies that young people can use in their daily professional lives. The program curriculum includes a range of topics including STEM education, resume writing, character building, business etiquette, and even how to fill out a college application.

S.T.A.R.S IS DIFFERENTWe believe that this program truly is unique. Not only do we train youth to be ready both academically and professionally, but we also reward them for doing so. Similar to a business environment, students have the opportunity to earn weekly stipends and bonuses based upon their success in the program. We also take our students on field trips and allow them to intern at different local businesses in order to gain real working experience.

- High school-aged youth are strongly encouraged to apply.
- This program is free of charge.
- All communication regarding the application process will be via email only.
- Please submit your completed application packet at Royal Christian Bookstore. No emailed applications will be accepted.
- Informational Meeting (open to all): Saturday, May 4 from 10:00a - 12:00p | Location: Sanctuary East (refreshments will be served)
- 📍 APPLICATION DEADLINE: Sunday, May 26 (Applications must be submitted to Royal Christian Bookstore by 2 PM)
- Applicant Interviews: Saturday, June 1 and June 8 from 10:00a - 12:00p
